Hidden Light Within the Night,

That lies beyond the distant stars.

My soul reflects your ancient fire

With a promise burnt within my heart.

You hold the key which once I knew,

And now it’s just a memory,

Hidden Light too bright to hold,

You are my very destiny.

Hidden light that lies within,

Which feeds each prayer I say.

From which the breath of God is born,

And leads me every day.

If I let the burning flame

Reflect there within my inner Heart,

Will the love you gave to me

Return and restore this dream you started.

Hidden light reveal the force

 that God does surely hold.

For I am but a pilgrim

Searching for God’s blessings as I go.

Let the stars shine brightly

Let me see their glow.

Guide me on my journey

Lead me to the eternal soul.

Hidden Light you burn in me,

With such blessings that you sow,

I call, I seek, I speak your name,

And feel you with me as on my path I go.
