Your daily Bread

Sweet Lord,

Let my Daily Bread feed the knowing

Of your wisdom and Guidance

On the path of Life.

For the way is long,

And the journey can be lonely,

Except for your Light

That leads me on,

And the gifts of Love that give me strength.

My soul embraces this journey,

And the Soul is the spark that is fed

From the fire of the One.

And when I am thirsty

Let me drink from the Chalice of Your Love.

And when I am hungry let me find

the Blessings of your Presence to sustain me.

Give me the strength to be true

to the Purpose of my Journey .

For there are many who follow

On the path even though we may not see them.

And there are legions seeking your Love, and I do feel them.

So I Drink from the Fountain of  the Holy Spirit

And let it fill my chalice,

I eat the Bread and Find that you give me strength for

The Journey on.

And I am Grateful, and humbled

By the Blessings I find on the Way Home.
