Let Go and let God

After all the Prayers are said,

After we struggle to figure Why,

After we hold on to the hopes

To control and to go beyond the trying.

There is a Moment to let Go,

And Let God Do What he May,

And for us to find the Center of Faith,

And find the strength to make it through the day.

We hold on to the Love

And the path that’s led us here,

Even when we can’t see the purpose,

And we are so full of fear.

We call upon the Angels,

That always do standby,

We turn to them for solace,

When we fall and feel like crying.

But as we twist and turn ourselves

Inside out we stop and find,

We have to just Let and let God,

Take over and Be in Control.

So take a breath and find a way

To go so deep inside,

And find the stillness waiting there

And Call upon the Christ,

And find the place within your soul

And go into the Light.

And ask to find how you might,

Just  Let  Go and Let God

Guide the Way to what is right.
