Love’s Answer

Oh, the chasing after Love’s answers

The wanting and the needing

The capture and control

Oh, this chasing after love.

And when we are given

This gift of love,

We wish to own it

But to love it we must let it go

And when to free the illusions it held

The promise and the pain it gave

We understand that to love this love

We must accept it and let just love remain

There’s so much truth that it can bring

we cannot hide what it is revealed

For love will teach us so many things

If we can just let our self just see

And the light of love has such way

To let you learn of what’s in you

and how your made

And all of the illusions and games we play

What we would give it if could to make it stay

And yet here it is inside us for free

And that love inside will never leave

If you can just love your self

And all that you are

You can love others

For who they are

For love is such a great teacher we find

And when we ask for love

We must be  forgive to receive

For God’s is love and that Love is free
