There is a softening that comes
With the smile of kindness
The call of recognition of the souls journey
That we embarked on so long ago
There is the sound of life happening
Expressing Joy expressing love
Expressing creation in infinite forms
There is a softening in the expression that comes
And we become aware
Of all the love that brought us here
And we can put aside our defenses
And we can put aside our fears
For there is more love in the world
Than we may ever even know
And so we learn to share
What is in our hearts and the truth in our souls
What we seek and what
we find
and what was always waiting to appear
Is because of Love that
led us here
And we learn and grow,
to live and become
More loving as we live
with loving kindness as guide
for behind every act of kindness is the mold
for us to become the person that shows
that there is light and love present
here in this life and beyond
that this energy of God’s love is alive in everyone
and so we say thank you
to all the ones who helped us on our way
and we lift our arms up and say
thank you to God each and every day
