at the pause of why

at the moment of turning away

to turn back 

and face what is observed

in the heart of what is feared inside 

In a moment of seeing

Of what is the true meaning 

and how we can deal

with the tricky act of being 

in the long time line

that has brought us to this point

there is this opportunity 

that we have to say it’s alright 

and then we know we can understand 

and we open up to embrace our fellow man 

in this experience of living

we can smile and start over again

for every day we have another chance

and if we create an opening 

there is an opportunity to grow 

and accept what we can learn

from whatever this life can show
