Come, Oh come, to this world

To understand that here God’s love abides

It’s being here 24/7 and all that means

Come, oh come, to the hidden places only you can reveal.

For there is a lifeline you were given at birth

That connects you here with your true worth

The human heart’s so hard to know,

And so we are given the eyes of the soul.

And with that vision we can see the light

that’s alive and guides you as you go,

to the heart of understanding.

Take the breath that integrates

The God in you and all you create.

And let that breath bring you a way to be

The love that lives in you and me.

A love that can forgive and set you free.

The power of compassion is what we need,

To live in this world and all it brings,

To still believe in everything that

Leads us to the Heart of Understanding.
