In the very breath of gratitude comes a moment

To pause and thus receive,

As the chalice of the lord brings to you

 the blessings that you need

The greatest blessing offered to you

Is the love that life can bring

The synthesis of heart and mind

And the rewards that dwell in everything

For within each gift is the essence

Of the presence of the soul

And so our path is lit with

A strength that will help us to grow.

And when you’re on a journey, Pause

And quench your thirst at the well

And drink from the sacred chalice

That once in heaven did dwell

Let it fill your life

Let it ease your mind

Let it heal your body

And let it’s grace help you to find

The secrets of the universe

Are given in life’s clues,

And there is always a way to carry on

And find some love in what you do.

And the rewards come in many ways

And the keys to the kingdom are always

In front of you, just waiting for you to discover
