I can’t remember when it was

I started this path that I am on.

When it was I found the way

And began the search for your love, come what may

It’s been a long, long road I’ve traveled on this search for you.

yet somewhere deep within my soul

I always knew that somewhere on this road I’m on

There was the pathway  to find you.

There’ve been so many blessings I’ve known

And so many wonders I did see

Still The purpose of this path

Was sometimes not revealed

And it seems I’ve learned a lot

And it seems that there is so much

To learn upon this trip of life

 that leads me to your door.

And I have to thank all the guides who came

And helped me on the way

Til I found the mountain top

and the world I could survey

And then I felt that I could fly

into the morning light

And leave behind the baggage

 I had carried all my life

And with a moment just to thank

The ones who loved me on the way

And just to realize that  with love

 there is always is a price to pay

And somewhere on this journey

Of no beginning and no end

I take a moment to be still

And send my love to you my friend

Life is such and adventure

And still such a mystery

And sometimes it takes a big shove and push

To open our eyes and see

God’s  truth is what we came for

And what will lead us on

And it’s  there in the blessings of Love that was offered us

On this journey that we are on
