For this is the Day the Lord hath made

Let us be Glad and Rejoice

For the trials and tribulations of these days

Can not overcome the Power of God’s goodness

And if you believe with all your heart

In the Light that shines ever on you way

You can celebrate that radiance

That causes the stars to shine

And the sun to light the new day

And the song of life that God’s brilliance brings

Causes the star to dance around the skies

And the heart to hold out some

 Even when the dreams have died

And at the break of dawn a bird does sing

As He hears the sound of the souls secret whisperings

And God’s voice would speak

If we could listen to hear

For in silence the truth he speaks

For this is the day the Lord hath made

Let us be Glad and Rejoice

For there is hope even in the darkest days

And if you go to the mountain top you can see

We all can come together as one

When we understand  even when we are weary

There is a greater plan.

And the world can awaken to this brand new day

And find some way to carry on

Some way to see past the darkness

And still believe even when hope is gone

That this is the day the Lord hath mad
