Remove the Crown of Thorns

When I looked deep into the Masters Eyes

And saw the love that he had there

I was shown that he wished us to celebrate that he was risen

And not the sorrows that he endured here

And on his head was not a crown of thorns

For that pain had now disappeared

In it’s place was a crown of Gold

With jewels of light shining Bright into  my soul

And I knew I could remove the crown of thorns

That still were there inside of me

held in resentment, and disappointment

 and fears that  I had known

For when we discover love that is offered in life

We also find one day the pain

For in each life there is part of us

That once believed  and has fallen and needs to rise again

And In your life there are so many blessings

Just waiting to unfold

So many gifts that are offered

That you can not yet see

It’s time now to celebrate the Harvest

And open your heart to believe

For as you worship God and the one who guides you here

Remember who took off the crown of thorns

And forgave the ones who placed it there

So stop and see the rising Sun

And the light that comes at the Break of the new day

See the beauty and the love waiting in your heart

Just waiting to unfold

Try to love without conditions, and to love without fear

To Love yourself and the God in us

So we can love others and all the pain they hidden there

So Forgive the past, the sorrows and the strife

Remove the crown of thorns and receive the love of God

To celebrate and share the blessings of a brand new life
