IN IT, NOT OF IT
While here living in this body,
You can be present and Aware
You can be a Part of Spirit
And bring that soul you are right here
You can live in that very energy
That has no beginning and no end
And use the power of who you are
To live with love and light my friend
You can be in it and not of it
You can be that Spirit here in Form
A Being in this Body
With life after life we transform.
You can learn from each experience
That this life will always bring
And do it over and over
Til we you get better at everything.
And we all know this life we live is temporary
And that we change in so many ways
What we thought was real to us
Can disappear and be taken away.
So why not identify yourself
With who you really are
A living spirit here in form
Ever learning what we came here for.
In it, but not of it
Present and aware
A soul that is eternal
With A living Light
to guide us here.
And with a little remembrance
Of who we really are
We can learn to live with that presence of love
And share that love that is present when we care.

Spirits in the material world
Living in this temporary form
Sharing the love we came here for.
