There is a point of surrender
When you realize it’s in God’s Hands
It is a point of reckoning
When you have done all that you can
And though you have the power
And the strength to stand and fight
You come to understand that at some point
it’s best to know that you should let go
and let it be in God’s hands and it’s alright
for we can only do so much
in the time we’re given here.
And then we have to stop and ask
to get by with a little help from our friends here.
And in that moment something happens
There is a shift that will appear.
And the burdens are lifted from our shoulders
And we feel the angels of God so near
And we can release the anger and frustration
And lay down all our fears
And accept that it is ok to pray and
turn it over to God
hands here.
So when you reach that point in life
When you are brought down to your knees
And you have done all you can
And you pray for a just little peace
Welcome that point of surrender
And realize when you pray
To just let go and to let it be in God’s Hands
And let that God handle it all His way.
