When you See
through God’s Eyes
When you look upon your life
And hold up the mirror from your soul
You can see this strange life drama
We create in this life that shows
What is most important to you
And what decisions that you make
What are the ways you forget who you are
and that it’s just a role you play
When you see from the soul’s perspective
What really matters here
You can have a better understanding
Of why you came and what you fear
For in the darkness it is hard to see
And so we can be afraid
But once we turn on the Soul’s Light that shines
And we see the truth with different eyes
And the world looks oh so different
When you see it from the other side
And it’s much easier to forgive it all
When we see things through God’s Eyes
And we find how important it is
to keep a
perspective from the highest light
and then we can forgive ourselves
for the mistakes we made
and we can forgive others and find relief
When you reflect upon your life
And see what that mirror shows
You can see that sometimes its life’s dramas
That is part of the way the ego controls
So hold that mirror up to see
What really is important here
And disengage from the things that draw you
Into the drama and ego and fear.
And put some love into the role you play
And hold some vision to see
That it is Love that you really came here for
And it is Love that will set you free.
