there’s a dark sky on the horizon 

and the rain is coming down

the wind is swirling round 

and the tide is on the rise 

and so much still to be done 

there’s a Hurricane that’s coming 

and people are getting prepared 

as we reach out to our friends  

to see if everyones okay here

there’s a spirit of Aloha 

that’s Alive in what we do

it’s in the sharing of a love

that energy in me and you

it’s a special way of living

and one we all embrace

so we can work together here

and do whatever it takes

to honor and protect
