as we look up to the stars

can we find our home in space 

is there some energy out there

that calls us to remember

that connection time can’t erase

our we children of the cosmos 

with seeds of a solar dna

each a part of this great creation 

all merged here in time and space

connected to a higher place

and I breathe in deep this Spirit 

that brings us to Gods light

that feeds our inner being

as our soul smiles through our life
