Walk a day in the shoes of the Fisherman
Live for a day as Christ in form
I heard these words in a dream of sorts,
And I thought what a great idea
To just walk in the light of the master here.
And I sat down and thought
that I would embody that love
of Christ consciousness that carries
the Spirit of
the holy dove.
And so I asked for a moment to be
The directly in connection to God
With Teacher’s light alive in me
And I held a chalice up to the Lord
And asked to have it filled
with the Nectar of the blessings we all so adore.
And there was transforming energy
That allowed me to realize how powerful
That Christ Consciousness really can be.
And what would it take to stay right there
In the center of God’s living energy
And so I asked instead to be
Able to live with the principles he taught and see
How I would follow this path in my life
To walk with Love, compassion, and forgiveness
And always try to do what is right.
For it’s easy to write the words that are true
But it is much harder to live the words
in what you say and think and do.
So I ask to follow the path of the Lord
And to learn the lessons I came here for
And I have new appreciation for what Christ had to do
When he came here to be
an example for
us to learn from so we could see
God’s path to follow to set our life’s free.
And now I humbly ask for just a moment or two to be
Able to live In that Christ Consciousness
that is alive in God’s love and light in me.
