These Mystic Shoes
Once I found these magic slippers
Brighter than Dorothy’s sparkling red shoes
And when I put them on my feet
Oh the things these mystic shoes could do
I could see the dance of life was limited
to this earthly time and space
but these mystic dancing shoes could lead me
to the entrance of a universe beyond this place
Somewhere between Heaven and Earth
I found the higher music that they were in tune to
With a cosmic dancing floor to the universe
Touched by what the masters say and do
They showed me how to slip on through an opening to see
That there is so much more to life
Than this earthly plane where we now dwell
with our earthly needs in this very dense place
And there are heavenly partners out there
Across on the other side
And these mystic dancing shoes can lead me
To be with them in eternal time
But there is still this magic
That I was shown we can find in all of life here
For traces of the Mystic energy
Live within every atom here.
And I can dwell in this time and space
Knowing we are so limited here
For this dimension we live in
Is just a shadow of a much greater life waiting to appear
So I put away my mystic dancing shoes
And I see through the illusions in which we must hide
Behind the mask we need to wear
To exist within this space and time
And there is just a limited time on this Earth here
Until we can be present for a great awakening
And God’s cosmic gifts will bless us
and these
mystic shoes will set me free.
