In this Accepting,
Of our self and all of life,
We are asked to stand naked
And reveal the self to show
This power of the gift of life
and love ourselves in spite
of what is there that we may not like
all of what has been hidden
all of what is there that we may fear
all exposed to God as we sit in silence
and accept what we see there.
And we are all given this precious gift of love
And we may not really feel worthy
To accept it and so we search for more
And seek to find it in another and another
As we ask them to prove that it really can appear
Perhaps they can show us how to find it
when we can’t understand it’s here all the while
and waiting in the depths of the blessings
of acceptance we all reach somehow
and we find this infinite spirit
that lives within our soul
and what else can we do but call upon it
to use as a tool so we can really know
how to dwell as spirit here in form
how to work with what we’ve got
to love ourselves and so love others
with all the blessings of creation
which are given for us to express
if we can accept our self and let it be
and so the waves of spirit wash over us each moment of the
day
like the ocean that turns the pebbles to sand
and slowly we get polished and til the ego gets washed away
and if we look at the beauty in each moment we can come to see
we are perfect in our in our imperfections
which teach us to accept that we are human, with spirit in
this limited form
each trying accept this love is what we are and came here for
