when my mind goes into a spin
and I forget where it is i am
I ask God to come and be with me
and I stop and take a few moments
and remember to breathe
so here I am God can you see me
even after all these years
I still need your Spirit present here
to calm my worries and my fears
Lord, I don't need proof you exist
because I truly Believe in your truth
but I sure am tired of just losing it
and I’d like to find some inner peace
and not bothered by life’s little things
and what the news is telling me
so I breathe in deep
and I say a prayer
and I know somehow
things will become clear
and I’ll stop the spinning out of control
and be present and try to enjoy my role
and be in your divine flow
and I ask that you be with me
now and always whenever need be
