In the clear Light of Presence
As we look into the Light,
Comes a breath of Spirit that reaches
into the depths of
the heart of life.
And spirit is an energy that feeds our timeless soul.
So come now light of Spirit, and teach me all your secrets,
So I can merge with what you know.
What name do you place on this energy
So you might somehow try to define
How it can be used by all, in this life’s brief dance with
time.
How do you honor this gift that’s given
By God to all of us for free.
Do you try to package
it and sell it
As something we all need to be?
And all those promises that are made
for the sake of Love and what we need
can only be captured and held on to
for the brief time we have here til we are released.
Come now gentle spirit, Come now love of my life
Come into this Moment and light the fire
that flickers in the embers of this given time.
Let me see if I can hold this gift you offer up for free.
Let me breathe it in, and merge with the love I ask for from
thee.
How do we spend the time we have
to dance with this perfect energy.
And how do we know when to just let go
And let it be in this life we have here be.
For Spirit is a gift God brings and it lives Eternally
And we can love it’s brilliant light
And we can hold it for a while and share it
to use as a gift that
is given to us for free.
And when we are without this form in the formless field of
energy
Will we still be merged with it
in the Love we found
while living this life’s dream.
And in the clear light of presence we abide,
In many different forms with Spirit that lives forever
in this precious gift of life.
