how can we get to that core
that shares the truth of who you are
what words get past that locked door
to reach the heart of what you are looking for
understanding that there’s always this need
to want to find some inner peace
and still come terms with what you need
in a world that lives in such extremes
you can only be what you can be
maybe that’s hard to sometimes see
but there’s an inner force that pleads
for us find a bridge to infinity
That seems to lead right back here
inside the heart of God
that lives in us eternally
