praying for a healing

and a time that brings the joy of being

to find the wave of light

and ride it to the heights 

colors sweep the sky

that rise and lift the eyes 

to see beyond the clouds

to the spirits source

 that created this complex life force

and after the ruse and fall

we try to make some sense of it all

to let go and just sigh

and look for the answers inside

to find a better way

to deal with all the stuff 

that comes and we must face

and there is this great relief

that comforts all the pain we feel

it’s right there for us to see

the gift of God inside can be 

the answer to our prayers 

and the guiding light 

that we need here
